FastAPI is a modern Python web framework for building fast, typed, asynchronous APIs with automatic OpenAPI documentation. I use it to build backends for SaaS products, mobile apps and AI features, including streaming endpoints for LLM responses.
FastAPI is my default for API-first products and AI backends: async by design, typed end to end and self-documenting. I use it to build services that frontends and mobile apps can integrate with in hours, not weeks.
